We are seeking dedicated and passionate individuals to join our team as Volunteer Financial Advisors. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact by providing financial guidance and assistance to individuals seeking support in managing their finances. Fluency in both English and Spanish is a plus, as it will enable you to connect with a broader range of clients.

Roles/Responsibilities

  • Provide financial advice and counseling to individuals seeking assistance.
  • Assess clients' financial situations and develop personalized plans to achieve their financial goals.
  • Educate clients on financial literacy and empower them to make informed financial decisions.
  • Stay updated on financial trends, regulations, and resources to better support clients.
  • Collaborate with a diverse team of volunteers and professionals to enhance the overall impact of our financial advisory services.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress.

Required Qualifications

  • Background in finance, accounting, candidates seeking AFC license or a related field.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Empathy and a genuine desire to help others improve their financial well-being.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

Preferred Qualifications

  • AFC® exam passed
