The AFCPE Strategic Impact Fund is a financial and philanthropic initiative designed to ensure the long-term impact and sustainability of our mission and vision. It focuses on providing scholarships for certification, training, and symposium attendance; supporting research projects that foster collaboration between researchers and practitioners; and funding programming designed to better support access and impact to financial security in underserved communities. Your gift directly funds research, programs, and resources that improve the economic well-being of individuals and families worldwide.

Symposium Scholarships

Enables individuals who couldn’t otherwise afford to attend to experience our annual Symposium.

These funds will be used for:

A Typical Support Year for Strategic Impact Fund:

  • $100,000 in scholarships to nonprofit organizations for certification and training to build capacity
  • 10 AFC scholarships to personal finance influencers
  • 100 AFC scholarships for people of color, thanks to a generous donation by the National Endowment for Financial Education (NEFE)
  • 100+ AFCPE Symposium scholarships
  • AFCPE Podcast episodes highlighting the value of the AFC in serving communities and building capacity.
