FPA Connect: Social Security: Spotlight on Spouse and Survivor Benefits

Join Theresa Busher and Kelly Draggoo, Social Security Public Affairs Specialists, for a review of the spousal and survivor benefit eligibility rules. This presentation will explain who qualifies and how, and when/why the benefits are reduced. We will also answer questions about whether ex-spouses can qualify for spousal and survivor benefits and what effect re-marriage can have.  In addition, we will detail information about SSA’s online my Social Security account and show you how you can do business with SSA online.
