When traveling to any location always know the best ways to stay safe and enjoy your trip!

There are a number of important things you can do to keep yourself and our community safe:

  • Travel together; there is safety in numbers
  • Be vigilant of your surroundings and stay alert at all times
  • When using rideshare services, be vigilant, be aware, and follow their safety recommendations, including double checking the license plates of vehicles you enter
  • Make a plan in advance of traveling to various destinations within or when leaving the District
  • Do not leave valuables out in plain sight
  • Walk in well lit areas and avoid dark locations
  • Don’t linger after businesses close for the night
  • Be respectful of the neighborhood and surrounding communities

Airport & Transportation

When scheduling your travel, check out the airport options for Columbus, Ohio. John Glenn Columbus International Airport (CMH) is less than 10 minutes from the hotel.

Need a ride from the airport to the Hilton Downtown Columbus? Click HERE to learn of your options

Driving to Columbus? In addition to parking at the Hilton Downtown, for $38 per day ($45 for valet), there are additional  on-site parking areas very close to the Hilton, for approximately $25 per day.

AFCPE Dinner Meet-Up

Preparing your Tech

Make sure your devices are ready for this year’s virtual Symposium! Make sure to check out the technical recommendations below. 

Virtual Symposium Package

You can access this year’s event through XCD via the mobile app and desktop. Starting on Monday, November 11th, attendees will have access to the following:

  • Virtual Symposium platform
  • Access to live stream of general sessions
  • Engage via chat with other virtual and in-person attendees
  • View OnDemand content (Posters & OnDemand Sessions)
  • Access to Exhibitor Directory and resources
