Greetings from the national office! The trace of autumn air signals more than pumpkins and cooler weather ahead — it means the Experience AFCPE 2020 virtual symposium is just around the corner.

Each year, our symposium uniquely brings together professionals from all across the field, and the country. Students, researchers, educators, practitioners, service professionals, and field leaders convene to discover new ideas and research, dig into issues and bridge gaps, and above all – to be renewed by the incredible passion of our community.

Because of the Covid-19 pandemic, we have revamped our in-person symposium to a week-long, interactive virtual experience that you won’t want to miss! The week features exceptional keynote speakers who will discuss relevant topics like financial capability for survivors of intimate partner violence, research on the financial impacts of the pandemic, behavioral economics, and financial empathy solutions for our field. On top of that, we will have nearly 50 hours of session content to choose from, an innovation lab of cutting edge tools and resources, and the same great networking opportunities that make AFCPE a one-of-a-kind event.

We are so fortunate to be able to make all of this possible through the incredible generosity of our partners and this year’s funders: The USAA Educational Foundation, JP Morgan Chase, FINRA Investor Education Foundation, National Endowment for Financial Education (NEFE), Zeiders Enterprises, Wells Fargo, Association for Military Banks of America (AMBA), America Saves, and Self Lender. Because of their generosity, AFCPE is able to deliver an incredible program and provide more scholarships than ever before!
