The need for a financial coach is simple: a financial plan, no matter how flawless, is still subject to human behavior and emotion. People spend their money based on their values and priorities, even whey they can’t fully identify their motivation. Financial coaching helps residents to establish processes and gain tools for balancing the behavioral and financial needs of their family and household.
Eden Housing’s Eden Savers Program is set up to support our residents by being matched with a trained financial coach. Coaches work one-on-one with our residents to help them improve their financial well-being, set and achieve meaningful financial goals, develop action steps, provide accountability, and serve as a resource for client questions.
All aspects of the Eden Savers Program are virtual: interviews are held over the phone, training is held on Zoom, and coach/resident meetings will be held remotely as well.
