Learning Objectives:
LO1: Understand the concept of “money silence” and its impact on financial decision making, communication and client relationships.
LO2: Identify common money scripts, beliefs and taboos that can prevent clients (and professionals) from having open financial discussions.
LO3: Apply active listening and questioning techniques to help clients explore emotions, values, and motivations related to money.
LO4: Use practical strategies from the book to normalize money discussions and support clients in aligning financial choices with their goals and values.
LO5: Develop a personal action plan to model healthy money dialog in their own practice and create an inclusive, judgmental-free environment for clients.
Time Commitment:
Six weeks for 30 minutes each week. (15 minute optional continue the conversation after the 30 minutes)
