The Launching Leaders webinar explores practical strategies to support emerging adults (specifically, military teens) in navigating financial decisions and career planning. Topics related to the AFC Core Competencies include: gathering client information, goal setting, creating an action plan, employment considerations, and making informed decisions by exploring pathways for life beyond high school graduation (e.g., financial considerations for college).

This webinar will identify approaches, tools, and resources that can increase resilience and self-advocacy for military-connected teens. Presenters will highlight the critical role of positive youth-adult relationships and examine ways to support military-connected teens in their transition to adulthood. Drawing on recent research, this session explores practical strategies and resources like the Cooperative Extension 4-H program.
