Jessica Limbrick

Dr. Jessica Limbrick, AFC® (she/her/hers), is an Assistant Professor of Business at Nevada State University. She completed her doctoral education in Financial Planning, Housing, and Consumer Economics at the prestigious University of Georgia (UGA). She teaches various finance courses such as Financial Planning, Investments, and Managerial Finance. She also manages her own private practice in Las Vegas where she assists families in budgeting, debt reduction strategies, and saving. Her research focuses primarily on the use of poverty simulations and college students’ attitudes towards poverty. Dr. Limbrick serves on the board of directors for Association for Financial Counseling & Planning Education® (AFCPE). She also regularly volunteers with Junior Achievement. In her spare time, she enjoys watching Dateline and true crime, traveling, reading, game nights, and completing Sudoku and word puzzles.
