Anna Sheufelt is in her sixth year overseeing Personal Finance at Duke; an initiative started in 2012 designed to empower students and alumni of Duke University to make informed financial decisions by providing educational information and space for reflection as individuals navigate their own personal finance journeys, both in school and beyond graduation.

Anna oversees all educational programming and outreach efforts through Personal Finance at Duke and has engaged with hundreds of individuals- including current students, prospective students, staff, and alumni- through large group sessions and one-on-one appointments to discuss various personal finance topics.

In addition to the support she provides to Duke’s campus, Anna has volunteered her time and expertise to several community organizations, including Freshly Minted Finances, Youth Economics Initiative for Financial Literacy Introduction Program, and the Duke Homebuyer’s Club, in hopes to make financial education accessible and approachable for underserved and marginalized populations.

During her time outside of the professional environment, Anna enjoys spending time with family, traveling to new places, and going on adventures with her husband and their Great Dane, Mosby!
