The Challenge: Growing a community-focused practice with funding barriers

Early in her career, Dr. Brandy Baxter, AFC®, FFC®, worked to develop a private practice while seeking networking and community-building opportunities. Balancing these goals with financial responsibilities proved taxing.

The Solution: Learning about the Symposium Scholarship

Brandy learned about the AFCPE Symposium, an opportunity to connect with other professionals, but costs were an obstacle. She applied for and received a Symposium Scholarship through the Strategic Impact Fund, which supports certification, training, and community-based initiatives.
