Many individuals and organizations are continuing their work toward building more equitable and inclusive environments for their workers and the communities they are part of.  As this work and these commitments continue, it is essential to provide opportunities for individuals to find roles and responsibilities where they can help others navigate systems in which they have been historically and currently underrepresented.  During this learning opportunity, we will explore the roles and responsibilities that come with moving toward being an effective and authentic ally, accomplice, or supporting partnerships of accountability.  Join us to explore our individual and collective work at the four levels – personal, interpersonal, institutional and cultural levels.

Presenter: Dionardo Pizaña

Dionardo Pizaña is the diversity, equity and inclusion specialist for Michigan State University Extension. He has over 30 years of experience developing, teaching, and facilitating diversity education programs, curriculum and community-based efforts across the state of MI and the country. As a member of the administrative leadership team, he provides direction, support and guidance for MSU Extension’s DEI commitments.

This event is $50 or Free for members.
