Military divorce presents unique financial challenges that extend far beyond the division of assets. From military retirement and disability benefits to healthcare eligibility, taxes, and post-divorce cash flow, AFC professionals are often called upon to help clients navigate complex financial decisions during an emotionally difficult time.

Designed as an introductory, framework-based course, this webinar will walk participants through the key financial considerations military families face before, during, and after divorce. Participants will leave with practical questions to ask, strategies for identifying situations that may require additional legal or tax guidance, and a better understanding of how to support military families while remaining within the scope of financial counseling.
