A Role for Financial Counseling and Coaching in Personal Trauma: Management, Recovery, and Healing

Heath Carelock returns to the subject of trauma-informed care in personal finance with this follow-up to his previous webinar: Intersections of Mind and Money, Trauma and Recovery.  In this webinar, Heath will revisit and expound upon trauma-sensitive approaches to financial counseling and coaching, exploring synergies from post-traumatic growth principles, financial therapy and trauma-informed victim interviewing, while identifying how personal traumas impact financial capability and wellbeing.  He will also explore some of the financial challenges facing specific groups, including asylum and refugee seekers and natural disaster victims.
