Educating the Experts: The Generation That Thinks They Know Everything

In this interactive and educational session, participants will gain tips and strategies to support and effectively work with younger generations. Participants will explore key insights into their financial behaviors, communication preferences, and how to support their financial goals.

Participants will learn how to create inclusive and welcoming spaces that encourage effective communication and listening techniques in order to provide an overview of the financial counseling process and the counseling relationship. How to identify financial resource gaps, uncover client’s money personalities and experiences, and how to best choose a counseling approach based on the client’s need will be highlighted in this session.
