The Cooperative Extension System provides non-formal education & learning activities throughout the country. It is essential to determine gaps in our work & find ways to bridge those on a national, state, & local level. This session will focus on how Cooperative Extension can bridge various gaps. The session includes an active discussion with National Program Leader, Toija Riggins, to find ways to work as a system to address gaps (relationships, PR, and data) in communicating our value to partners. Roundtable discussions & Ignite presentations will be used to determine & address gaps in our clients’ knowledge on various financial topics & gaps in training/professional development & materials. This session is open to all AFCPE professionals, especially Extension professionals & those who work directly with clientele in counseling &/or community settings.
