Member Meet Up: From CashCourse to Cash ‘n’ Careers

With NEFE’s retirement of CashCourse, many members of AFCPE are searching for resources to use at their institutions. Western Michigan University recently developed a web-based prototype that addresses some the big financial planning concerns of young Americans: https://cashncareers.org/ Motivation for this tool was presented at the 2019 AFCPE Symposium and the resulting paper titled Human Capital Investment for Adolescents: Barriers and Opportunities is available in the Journal Financial Counseling and Planning.

On Tuesday, April 6 at 12 PM ET, we’re hosting a demonstration of Cash ‘n’ Careers by two AFCPE members who are developing this tool. We will follow with an open dialogue about the various resources that universities are exploring as a solution to CashCourse. Come to share feedback, offer suggestions, and learn from one another.
