Create your Symposium Itinerary

Did you know you can start browsing the sessions and adding them to your itinerary now? With the new Symposium platform, these sessions will transfer over to your virtual and mobile app profile.
Virtual Attendees:
View the sessions available to you by using the “virtual” and “hybrid” filters. Additional instructions in the link below. Recorded in-person sessions will be made available to all attendees within 48-72 hours.
Need CEUs or Experience Hours? Here are the most common questions we get.
I am an AFCPE certified professional. How do I earn/report my 15 CEUs?
In November 2022, AFCPE will send a Symposium survey to all registered attendees. Complete this survey by December 2022 and we will add your 15 CEUs to your myAFCPE profile. CEUs will be uploaded to your profile by the end of 2022. If you are unable to complete the survey by the deadline, AFCPE will provide you a completion code for your Symposium CEUs. It is the responsibility of the professional to submit this code via their myAFCPE account to receive credit for their Symposium CEUs. Please email CEU@afcpe.org if you have any questions.
I am a CFP® certified professional. How do I report my CEUs?
We should hear back soon about how many sessions have been approved CFP® CEUs. Some of the pre-approved breakout sessions may occur at the same time, but all sessions will be recorded and available within 48-72 hours of the live session. Directions for how to locate CFP approved sessions coming soon.
When you registered for the Symposium, you indicated your need for CFP CEUs. We will send you a special survey on the Monday after the Symposium. You must complete this survey by Monday, November 28 so we may submit your CEUs to CFP Board on your behalf. Please note that CFP Board requires that we submit within 10 days from the end of the event, so please plan your viewing time accordingly. If you submit your survey after November 28, we will not be able to submit for CEUs on your behalf.
I'm an AFC® candidate. May I count some of the sessions I attend toward my certification experience requirement?
Yes, you can! Please refer to the Experience Guide for details on submitting. Candidates my submit Symposium experience hours in the ‘Related Training/Conference’ category. The Symposium event is valued at 15 hours. Additional Symposium content accessed virtually may be submitted in the ‘Related Training/Conference’ or ‘Related Webinars’ categories, with appropriate supporting documentation. Please note these categories have a program maximum; candidates who have already met the maximum in these categories will not be able to submit additional experience hours. Please contact certification@afcpe.org if you have any questions.

COVID-19 Reminder
In light of the ongoing spread of COVID-19, AFCPE is taking extra precautions to protect the health and safety of Symposium Registrants and AFCPE directors, staff, volunteers, and agents; however, AFCPE is unable to guarantee that you will not become infected with the COVID-19 virus while at, or during travel to or from, the Symposium or in surrounding areas. Registrants acknowledge that COVID-19 is a highly contagious virus and that, despite precautions taken to minimize risk, there is still a possibility that Registrants will be exposed to or contract COVID-19 at the Symposium. By registering to attend all or part of the Symposium, Registrants voluntarily assume the risk that they may be exposed to or contract COVID-19 at, or during travel to or from, the Symposium or in surrounding areas. Registrants hereby knowingly release and agree to hold AFCPE, and their directors, staff, volunteers, and any agents (the “Released Parties”), harmless from and against all liabilities (statutory or otherwise) for claims, suits, demands, judgments, costs, interest, and expense (including but not limited to attorney’s fees and disbursements) for injury, illness, permanent disability, or death related to COVID-19 arising from or in connection with the Symposium, travel to or from the Symposium, or any activities related to the Symposium, even if arising from the negligence, acts, or omissions of the Released Parties.
By registering for the in-person 2022 Symposium, I hereby certify that I am fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or that I will comply with any masking and/or COVID-19 testing requirements in effect at the 2022 Symposium in Orlando, FL. Any attendees not complying and/or commenting on the choices of other attendees may be asked to attend the remainder of the Symposium virtually.
