This Work is My Life's Mission
April 04, 2017
As a single parent who left a marriage and an abusive situation, I was struggling financially all the time. I had to file bankruptcy and even count clicks on a clock to get paid. But through it all, I refused to accept public assistance. I made the necessary sacrifices and kept the faith. I promised the Lord and myself that when I got out of my unfortunate situation I would reach back and help others who may have fallen on hard times.
It has become my life’s mission to help as many people as I can get back on track with their finances. I know firsthand that bad things can happen to good people. When I am asked to speak about finances I always share my story. It helps my clients see that bad situations are not the end of the world and with a little help you can recover.
As a financial counselor, the most rewarding part of my job is seeing a client reach the goals that they set for themselves and seeing the difference after a counseling session. I love my job!
