October 26, 2017 @ 12 - 1:00 PM EST

1 CEU for AFCPE® Professionals  and CFP®  Professionals
2 CEUS for the series

According to the 2015 Census Bureau, Hispanic people make up 17% of the American population, with that number rising to 28% by 2060. These numbers make them the largest minority population in the United States.

As financial and service professionals, cultural awareness and understanding is essential to working effectively with individuals and families. In honor of National Hispanic Heritage Month, we are excited to bring you a webinar series that will begin to bridge the cultural gaps between you and those whom you serve, allowing you to increase client success and enhance financial well-being.

Webinar 1: From Frontiers to Family: Understanding the Hispanic/Latino Cultural Impact on the US
October 19, 2017

Learn how Hispanic and Latino people have impacted mainstream America through economic and cultural diversity. By examining key historical events – from loss of land rights to abolition of slavery to farm worker migration to Mexican/Latino immigration – you will gain deeper insight into the financial impact that historical events have had on both the Latino population and our country.

Webinar 2: From Paper to Practice: Embracing Cultural Diversity to Increase Client Success

October 26, 2017

In the second part of this series, we’ll examine current wealth data from leading studies, to better understand both historical and current barriers to financial success. By understanding what's important to the Hispanic and Latino population, you’ll learn how to effectively leverage these unique perspectives to enhance relationships and ensure client success.
