2018 COHEAO Annual Conference
The Coalition of Higher Education Assistance Organizations (COHEAO) will be hosting their 2018 Annual Conference January 28-January 31, 2018 at the Ritz-Carlton Pentagon City, located next to Washington, D.C.
The COHEAO Annual Conference is the must-attend event for student financial services administrators on campus and their vendor partners, particularly those with an interest in the happenings of Washington and its impact on our business. Previous Congressional speakers include Sen. Tammy Baldwin (WI), Rep. Luke Messer (IN), Rep. Mark Pocan (WI), Subcommittee on Higher Education and Lifelong Learning Chair Virginia Foxx (NC), Rep. Tim Bishop (NY), among others!
This conference is also a critical advocacy event for the Perkins Loan Program and other student financial services issues on campus, such as reforms to the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. The conference includes a half-day for attendees to visit with their legislators and their staff on Capitol Hill. If you are new to Congressional advocacy, COHEAO will be able to pair you up with more experienced advocates.
