Virginia Zuicker
Virginia Solis Zuiker is an Associate Professor at the University of Minnesota in the Department of Family Social Science and has been a member of AFCPE since 1997. She started her career as a public school teacher in Harlingen, Texas and also worked for Oklahoma State University Extension program as an Assistant State Specialist. She has held the following positions with AFCPE: 2007 & 2008 National Conference Program Chairperson, 2006 Section Leader for Research Papers, 2005 Section Leader for Student Papers, and Guest Reviewer for the Journal of the Association of Financial Counseling and Planning Education. Her scholarly research focus is in the area of economic well being of families with particular interest in Hispanic self-employment and family-owned businesses. She received her B.S. from the University of North Texas, M.S. from Texas Tech University, and Ph.D. from The Ohio State University.
