Bobbie Shaffett
Dr. Bobbie Shaffett, Extension Professor, serves as Family Resource Management State Specialist at Mississippi State University. She holds Ph.D., M.Ed., and B.S. degrees from Louisiana State University where she specialized in Family and Consumer Sciences Education. She has served as a reviewer for AFCPE® posters and journal articles. Always ready to share successful programs and materials, she has presented programs at AFCPE® annual conferences for the past 5 years, in addition to financial education presentations at other national meetings. Dr. Shaffett has produced numerous Extension publications and videos that are available through the World Wide Web at her university's website on Family Resource Management pages. In 2008, her Financial Fitness video podcast and program won the AFCPE® Outstanding Financial Education Program Award.
